Designed with versatility in mind, the NIKKEN eMAC Digital modular boring system is the ultimate solution for precision boring.

Featuring a modular blade system suitable for a range of tools, cartridges and inserts, the NIKKEN eMAC offers two sizes of fine boring heads to provide optimum range and versatility. The boring head can be mounted to a wide range of tool shanks via the NIKKEN Q26 modular connection, this allows utilization across multiple machine tool types.

Equipped with a digital display, incremental movement of the radial slide traverse can be precisely indicated with a resolution of only 2 microns. This also allows for further target adjustments that can be set quickly, either in the tool Presetter or directly inside the machine tool spindle, once the initial diameter is established.

As standard, the eMAC features a centre through coolant supply (up to 4 MPa) with the output either directly to the end of the boring tool or, on the body, via a nozzle, should cartridges be used. For additional durability, the boring system is rated IP67 waterproof, ensuring internal electronics remain safe and functional.
